Monkinya is currently working on offering a mindful parenting course and a virtual mindful moms club in 2024. Stay tuned!
It is every child's right to access the right tools and opportunities to learn yoga, mindfulness and growth mindset from an early age. Monkinya creates simple-to-use, easy-to-download and affordable tools and, organizes virtual “breathe with me” workshops and fun yoga classes for children worldwide.

We can’t expect 2- to 3-year-olds to sit still and focus on their breath when asked. However, that doesn’t mean they cannot begin practicing simple, playful breathing exercises or yoga poses.
In my classes with this age group and my own 2.5-year-old, I encourage children to explore their natural imagination and creativity in a fun and simple way, integrating these techniques to stories and play!
The first step to calming down when you are angry, sad or frustrated is to understand and name your feelings.
Let's consider anger. When you get angry, your body might feel tense, your face might get hot and red, and you may clench your teeth without noticing.
It might still be an unpleasant feeling, yet naming it and simply noticing all bodily "symptoms" associated with this feeling allows you to tame it!
