Monkinya for the whole child
Your job is to play, explore, and follow your curiosity. Ours is to help you grow by building emotional resilience and regulation through the right tools, experiences, and support. At Monkinya, we meet you where you are and speak your language: together, we play, create, explore, and connect.
Relying on mindfulness only during a meltdown is like trying to learn to surf in a storm. By actively developing these skills in calm moments through play, you empower your child to confidently navigate their emotions when big feelings come.
Children learn best through play, curiosity, and hands-on experiences. Monkinya’s resources, classes and workshops are designed to bring mindfulness and movement into your children’s daily lives in a playful and lighthearted way!

Children’s Yoga & Mindfulness Classes
Available as family or group sessions, Monkinya’s founder, Merve & a team of CYTs trained by Monkinya offer both online & in-person classes that introduce mindfulness and movement in an engaging, age-appropriate way.
For online family sessions, we take a child-led approach, tailoring each session to your family’s unique needs, interests, and emotional well-being.
In our group sessions, using a trauma-sensitive, mindfulness-based approach, we create an inclusive, supportive space where all children can explore mindfulness in a safe and empowering way.

Mindulness Matters!
In a world filled with constant stimuli, children need the tools to find their own inner quiet. Method Eline Snel (also known as the "Sitting Still Like a Frog" method) is a world-renowned, evidence-based mindfulness program developed by Eline Snel for children aged 4–12.
The "Attention Muscle"
This method treats attention like a muscle that can be strengthened through practice. By learning to "sit still like a frog," children discover how to:
Calm a "mind full of thoughts" and improve their focus and concentration.
Navigate emotions (both pleasant and unpleasant) without being overwhelmed.
Build resilience by responding to stress with kindness rather than reacting automatically.
Develop self-confidence and a non-judgmental attitude toward themselves and others.
